We, at ShootRome, strongly believe that love and romance should be celebrated, captured and sung. It was Mrs and Mrs Antonio's wish to have an audience with the Pope, for the ritual Sposi Novelli, where newly-wed couples receive papal blessings. And there was no better way to celebrate this special event than capture it with a Sposi Novelli Photo Shoot and picked ShootRome as their Sposi Novelli photographer. Think of a Sposi Novelli session as a mini wedding photo shoot. To qualify to receive the papal blessing, couples must be wearing their wedding attire and be married within 2 months of the audience. This is a great opportunity for brides to live their wedding day a second time and very often they request a complete Hair & Makeup service. I must say that we pride ourselves on the extra services we provide, especially Hair & Makeup. Silvia did an absolutely amazing job, which always makes the job of the photographer much much easier. She also assisted during the whole shoot, providing support for both hair and makeup. The couple and our team met off St Peter's Square, and after a quick introduction, we started our Sposi Novelli photo session. With a beautiful couple such as Mrs and Mr Antonio, I knew we would attract a lot of attention and interaction from and with the surrounding crowds. Next on our itinerary was Castel Sant'Angelo and its namesake iconic bridge. From there, we all headed down to the Tiber river bank, where more iconic and fun shots were taken. We wrapped up our 2-hour photo session with a few fun shots.

It should come as no surprise to that more and more couples are coming to Rome for their wedding or their Sposi Novelli session. They all look for iconic, stylish, elegant and strong portrait photography. Our signature-style.
With this review there's a backstory or else you'd think we went over the top with their wedding outfits or that we got married in Rome. This is not the case. We were approved to meet the Pope for Sposi Novelli, wherein newlyweds can apply to arrange a meeting with the Pope. Stipulation for the meet was to be dressed in our wedding attire Being accepted to meet new him we packed our bags and flew off for our honeymoon in Rome. Since it's a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet the Pope and we're dressed in our Sunday best, ... we decided to call up a local photographer in Rome to help capture some memorable moments in Rome to add to our memories. This is where Luca comes into our story. Upon meeting him he was very cordial and friendly. He introduced himself and actually took the time to get to know us a little before we started taking photos. Luca wanted to capture our personal charms and how we interact as a couple. He was able to capture the playful side of me and of course how elegant and beautiful my wife looks in her dress! With this review I'm sure pictures will serve more justice to what Luca was able to capture for us! If you're short for time, he can also arrange for a team to do your hair and makeup prior to the shoot. Communication between us and his team was excellent (we used WhatsApp). We can't thank him enough for an enjoyable time shooting with him and allowing us to have fun at the same time! He definitely has an eye for pictures and with his warm yet professional personality, you'll want to have him tag along for the rest of your travels in Rome! Thanks again Luca! We love the moments you captured for us in Rome!
