Surprise Proposal at the Pincio's Belvedere

I was certain that the warm light of sunset, at the Pincio Gardens Belvedere, would be the perfect complement to this beautiful proposal. Paul wanted a less crowded place where to propose to Robyn, and the Pincio Belvedere Terrace at sunset never fails to deliver utterly stunning images. What's more, the warm backlight at sunset creates that perfect airy atmosphere that makes a romantic proposal magical. What I absolutely love about these images is the euphoria and laughter that Robyn and Paul instilled into their proposal.

There was so much energy between them that I couldn't bring myself to interrupt the beautiful flow of poses they set in motion once I'd given them a handful of directions. They made my job of capturing their happiest moment very easy and very rewarding, as you may see by the images below. Shortly after sunset we took a few more shots at the Pincio garden and then we headed towards the Spanish Steps where we wrapped up the shoot in the warm lights of Piazza di Spagna.
